Successful presentation of TEREM - HOLDING EAD at the international exhibition HEMUS 2024 with trusted partners and renewed portfolio

TEREM - HOLDING EAD presented at this year's international exhibition for defence and security "HEMUS" 2024, which took place in the period 05-08 June in Plovdiv, new products related to unmanned aerial systems as part of the innovative and consistent policy for strategic development of the company in relation with the development and innovative technologies adoption in the field of defence and security.

The Holding participation was focused in several aspects. In addition to the presented new products as exhibits, the stylish and imposing stand of the company presents TEREM - HOLDING conceptually in its entirety - as a leader in the repair of equipment and technique, which covers a wide range of the defence sector thanks to its 5 subsidiaries companies. Key to this year's performance was two valuable business partnerships of the Holding - with General Dynamics Land Systems and the Ukrainian company RAROG Aerospace.

TEREM - HOLDING and General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) have successfully marked their business cooperation with their joint presentation at the International expo HEMUS 2024 in regard with the Stryker regional machine maintenance and repair Center project. Chris Hastie, Senior manager - Global strategy and business development, was one of the international representatives of GDLS, who graced the event and expressed confidence in the long-term and fulfilling partnership between the two companies.

An extremely valuable partner for the company is also RAROG Aerospace thanks to which the first First Person View (FPV) unmanned aerial system series has been presented. The UAVs are able of static and moving targets engagement at a range of up to 15 km, developing a speed of up to 140 km/h at terminal stage of attack. The various models of drones from the series were displayed at the stand and provoked considerable interest among the visitors.

TEREM - Tsar Samuil presented its own specialized ammunition for combat unmanned aerial vehicles - with ready-made fragments and a launcher capacity of up to 4 pcs as well as a striking element with a shock core with the ability to penetrate armour up to 30 mm. The prototypes aroused serious interest among the visiting audience.

TEREM Management representatives were part of series of events within the exhibition. On June 7 Executive Director Kalin Dimitrov took part as a presenter in the Balkan-Ukrainian Forum of Defence Industries in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Defence Adelina Nikolova, The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Bulgaria H.E. Olesya Ilashchuk, Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Sergey Boev, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry David Sukalinsky, Director of the Ukrainian Defense Industry German Smetanin and other representatives of the Bulgarian, Ukrainian and foreign defence industries.

Within the framework of the XII International Scientific Conference the Research and Development Director Lyuben Yovchev at TEREM - HOLDING presented "The role of small unmanned systems in the background military conflict” as part of a poster session.

During HEMUS 2024 representatives from the management and teams of the TEREM group participated in a total of more than 40 business meetings in various formats, some of which included local and foreign government representatives. The renewed portfolio was presented to current and potential partners from around the world. As a result of the discussions and business opportunities that have arisen, TEREM – HOLDING is currently working on the preparation of seven new contracts and two memorandums with commercial companies.

TEREM Group continues to work on upgrading its production facilities, integrating and acquisition of innovations and know-how, progressively developing in the sake of expanding its presence both on the local and international markets.
