Dimitar Zlatarov is the new member of the TEREM-HOLDING EAD Board of Directors

As of March 11 2025, Dimitar Zlatarov has been officially listed as a member of the TEREM-HOLDING EAD Board of Directors. An official member will be appointed after concluding the official public procedure in accordance with the Legal regulation of the Public Enterprises. Mr. Zlatarov was assigned as per protocol decision No. RD-36-3/27.02.2025 by the Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov as the principal of the Holding.

Education:

Master's degree/engineer in radio electronics, (engineer in radio electronics) - graduated at the "G. Dimitrov" National University of Economics, Shumen - 1987.
Master's degree in "International Economic Relations" graduated at the University of National and World Economy - 2001.
Ph.D. degree in "Dynamics, Ballistics and Flight Control of Aircraft" at the National Defence College "G.S. Rakovski" - 2010.

Career:

During his military service from 1987 to 2012, Dimitar Zlatarov held various command and expert positions, respectively in the Bulgarian Army and the Ministry of Defence with the ranks from lieutenant to colonel.

His professional career in the Ministry of Defense began in the "Development of Armaments and Equipment" Department in the "Armaments Policy" Directorate in the period 2003-2010 regarding development, coordination and implementation of investment programs and projects of the Ministry related to the modernization of the Armed Forces.

Since 2010 Col. Dr. Eng. Zlatarov, headed the “Coordination of Investment Activities” Department in the “Defence Investments” Directorate at the Ministry of Defence until 2012 where he manages national and international projects in regard with the acquisition of new systems and armaments. Also, Mr. Zlatarov was responsible for the interaction with military, national scientific organizations and the Bulgarian industry in the implementation of scientific and scientific-applied projects.

After his military service discharge in 2012, Mr. Zlatarov continued his career development as a security specialist in the “Administration and Security” Department of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD in the period 2013-2014.
