As of January 19, 2026, Ivaylo Despodov has been officially appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of TEREM-HOLDING EAD. An official member will be appointed after concluding the official public procedure in accordance with the Legal regulation of the Public Enterprises. Mr. Despodov assigned as per protocol decision No. RD-36-2/19.01.2026 by the Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov as the principal of the Holding.

Mr. Despodov graduated from the University of National and World Economy (Sofia) majoring International Economic Relations. After that he completed another Bachelor degree in Business Administration at the New Bulgarian University (Sofia). He subsequently completed a Master's degree in Energy Business at the UNWE.

Ivaylo Despodov's professional career has been entirely in the private sector until his appointment as a member of the Board of Directors of TEREM-HOLDING EAD. Already a proven expert in the energy business, his experience is focused on procurement and logistics, supply chain optimization, resource management, planning and coordination of energy flows in a dynamic market environment.

Mr. Despodov's career path started at Lukoil Bulgaria EOOD as a Wholesale & Supply Sales Expert in 2011. Subsequently, in 2018, he became part of Axpo Group as a Natural Gas Operations Specialist, where his responsibilities were related to management, monitoring and optimization of trade and transportation processes concerning international supplies. After that, Ivaylo Despodov briefly held the position of Back Office Specialist (Power Analyst) at Axpo Nordic.

In 2019, his career continued at Rompetrol Bulgaria EAD as Supply and Logistics Manager. Despodov led all activities related to the company's petroleum products, including distribution process management, coordination with stakeholders, Quality control, document flow, etc. Responsibilities also include monitoring the investment projects and supporting the company's strategic business development in terms of supply and logistics processes.
