TEREM – HOLDING EAD took an active part in the international tactical live-fire exercise “STRIKE BACK 26”, which was held at the Koren training range with the participation of over 1,500 militaryes and more than 450 units of combat and auxiliary equipment from Bulgaria and NATO allied countries.
Within the framework of the exercise, TEREM provided and demonstrated the capabilities of a micro-class, rotor-type strike unmanned aerial vehicle system (FPV), delivered under contract to the Land Forces of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. For the first time in the conditions of a large-scale joint military exercise, the system was integrated into a real tactical scenario and used together with reconnaissance assets, mechanized formations and firepower to engage enemy targets.
During the execution of the tasks, the operators of the Land Forces successfully delivered over 15 precision strikes on various ground targets in the tactical zone of combat operations, confirming the effectiveness of the system and its ability to be used as an integral part of modern combined arms combat.
TEREM's participation in "STRIKE BACK 26" is yet another proof of the capabilities of the Bulgarian defense industry to develop, integrate and deliver modern unmanned solutions that meet the current requirements of the combat environment. The presented FPV strike platforms were developed and implemented in close cooperation with the Land Forces, providing new capabilities for precise engagement of targets at short and medium distances.
Currently, TEREM is the only and main supplier of micro-class, rotor-type strike unmanned aerial platforms to the Land Forces. The successful participation of the systems in the exercise confirms the correctness of the chosen approach to building national capabilities in the field of unmanned technologies and creates prerequisites for their further development and implementation in the Bulgarian Army.
